Tori Whitelaw's practice focuses primarily on natural resources law including energy, environmental, and water law. She has represented both corporate and individual clients, including several large midstream oil and gas companies. During her time at Zabel Freeman, Ms. Whitelaw has been an active part of teams focused on acquiring right-of-way for several major pipeline projects throughout Texas, and the litigation that results from both the administrative and litigation stages of those projects. Ms. Whitelaw has handled and filed several hundred cases in the past two years, and actively reviews title, drafts and negotiates easements, advises clients on risk-benefit analysis, conducts advanced legal research, participates in court and administrative hearings, drafts persuasive documents, and engages in discovery and mediation.
